On Wednesday, May 30th at the Make-Out Room, some of the best comedic minds will be assembled for a unforgettable night of comedy. Hosting will be the very funny David Hawkins. Plus music by local legend Dj Specific

The Romane Event Comedy Show has long been a "must perform" show for the Bay Area's top comedians, and a must-see for comedy fans. For the last seven years Paco Romane has worked hard to bring the best in indie comedy to San Francisco. Romane Event alums include Will Durst, Sean Hayes, Ms. Pat, Will Franken, Marga Gomez, Larry "Bubbles" Brown, Ali Wong, Moshe Kasher, Brent Weinbach, Killing My Lobster, Desiree Burch, and many, many more. The Romane Event has also been featured on NPR, The Onion, SF Chronicle, SF Bay Guardian, SF Weekly, Time Out SF, SF Fun Cheap, SF Station, The Egotist and YELP and is an official sponsor of The Amazing SF Race

The Romane Event is one of the hottest comedy shows in the country and after 6 Years is always a great night with fun audiences and exciting atmosphere. Watch the best comedians in an "anything goes and probably will" environment, with cool tunes by Dj Specific, and stiff drinks, in one of San Francisco's best clubs, The Make-Out Room. It is the longest running monthly comedy show in The Bay Area and features the Bay Area's top stand-up comics. See a lineup of many of whom have appeared on late-night television and have performed on Comedy Central, LettermanThe Tonight ShowHBO and more!

Paco Romane is a San Francisco based actor, writer, filmmaker, comedian, multi-instrumentalist, and a member of the award winning, sketch comedy group, Killing My Lobster. He has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy including: Robin Williams, Will Durst, Jake Johannsen, Robert Hawkins, Dana Carvey, Rick Overton, and many, many others. His production company, FreeDirt Media, produces comedy videos, live events, radio shows, and musical mayhem. Paco was voted "Best Comedian" in the Bay Guardian's "Best Of The Bay" and was runner up for Best Comedian in the SF Weekly in 2007, 2008.

HEADLINER, Ms. Pat is her name and comedy is her thing. Having performed now for more than two years, Ms. Pat has already earned the respect in the comedy industry that takes others years to obtain. This married mother of four has stepped onto the stage with a presence so fierce that she leaves her audience breathless and gasping for more! This new and upcoming comedienne is a vivacious, boisterous woman from Atlanta, Georgia who says whatever is on her mind. She talks about everything from issues in the news, receiving her GED, bad relationships and her four bad kids (she claims)….

Nato Green continues the tradition of hard-hitting Jewish comedians like Lenny Bruce, Mort Sahl, and Joe Lieberman. Nato is one-third of Laughter Against the Machine, "the brainiest, most literate comedy tour" (East Bay Express) with W. Kamau Bell& Janine Brito, whose sold-out Bay Area shows “touched a nerve” (SF Chronicle). Nato is the creator of Iron Comic, the Iron Chef-spoofing hit comedy game show that packed houses at SF Sketchfest four years running and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, Oregon in 2010 & 2011. Daniel Handler, aka Lemony Snicket said Nato is, "Righteous and hilarious, bracing and a hoot, Nato Green is like finding a shot of bourbon at your co-worker's stupid vegan potluck."

Phil Johnson , who has appeared at the Sundance Film Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, uses comedy and music to dissect that dilemma in both his own life and others.

Lydia Popovich is a SF-based comedian and blogger. Her website, Hater Tuesday founded in 2003 garners thousands of weekly visits from friends and family around the world. You can see her performing on stages all over the Bay Area including her favorites the Punchline, Purple Onion, Club Deluxe and Rooster T Feathers. She was a finalist in 2011 Rooster T Feathers New Talent Competition.

HOST David Hawkins has appeared onstage in comedy clubs and events for the last 7 years in such venues as the SF Punchline, The Comedy Store in LA, The National Queer Arts Festival and many more. Last year he made his television debut on LOGO's One Night Stand Up where he killed and also toured Texas where he was almost killed. Besides stand-up comedy David is a graphic designer, deejay and has had 4 original plays produced in San Francisco. He is recently single so don't be too jealous.

Dj Specific spins tunes that are simultaneously sweaty, pumping, fun and elastic. He not only has great taste in music but also a keen wit and works wonders in the kitchen. He is at every Romane Event playing his tunes before, during and after the show.
